AIG Program
Mrs. Jamieson
My name is Sarah Jamieson. I am the AIG facilitator at Neal Middle School. I have been teaching since 2009. I hold a Master’s Degree in Adolescent Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science. I am certified in the areas of Social Studies (6-12) and Academically Gifted Education (K-12).
My goal is to enrich and expand our AIG students’ educational experience at Neal through the AIG elective class. In the elective class, students explore how they learn, social-emotional learning, problem solving skills, the research process and inquiry-based passion projects. Additionally, I work with classroom teachers to ensure that AIG students are well served in their core classes. I am also responsible for identifying students who are eligible for AIG services, as well as for advising National Junior Honor Society.
Come and see what Advanced Academics at Neal has to offer!
